I am kind of on the way back already but…
…before, I still have to make it at least a full day worth of cycling.
Tonight I really hope that the temperatures are warmer than the usual last ones. Again I felt cold during the night (I know! The story is becoming boring…for me too!). Maybe it is also due to the light tent I am using…or old age? Better not think about that! But I did had a lovely spot.
After some healthy breakfast and the last hot tea (I managed to burn through all the fuel I brought and haven’t bought new one) I gave it a go. Ah, you might be surprised that also today I managed to leave shortly after 8 am. Well, I also did not want to run into somebody complaining that I wild camped here.
The first half of the Tauber valley cycling path was really beautiful. And I felt also very alive. Like I said yesterday. When in motion my e-motions seem to be higher. I heard a couple of days ago that we go through around 20 mood changes a day. Being cancer allows me to double this figure. After a fenomenal start into the ride by afternoon I felt quite exhausted. But being me, I did not want to give up before reaching the goal for today…my goal.
Along the way I saw several beautiful villages and towns. Yes, I did want to stop and have a coffee. But this damn Corona and the lockdown rules. I knocked my head on the wall hearing that in Baden-Württemberg I need also a PCR test even if I am all by myself (and fucking nobody else is on the terrace). That bothered me for a while and I should leave such things behind much faster. WIP
I managed to arrive at Wertheim where the Tauber flows into the Main. It is a very beautiful city but because of aformentioned reasons it was no fun.
Right at the Main I had a beautiful Akashic Records Reading with Patrycja. Being in that field always elevates me and with that high feeling I continued a little bit along the Main. I would have had enough power to go further but I want to sleep at the Main today. And in about 5 km my path will leave it. So, this is where I rest tonight:
My next destination is Würzburg. Why Würzburg you might ask? Well, the train connection from Wertheim to Nürnberg is over 3.5 hours long and from Würzburg only 1. I figured I can spend the 2.5 hours also on the bike hahaha
I did roughly 105 km today. Endurance-wise with ups and downs:
Summary of day 5: Being in motion makes me feel alive.
Love,
Matthias
