Right around Christmas I received emails promoting supposedly really cheap flights to Guatemala. Although, I didn’t find them as inexpensive as those ads usually are only for 2 week trips (and who does that? 😏), I was hooked.

Kep, lovely Kep. More or less. But at least, I was close to the ocean again. It’s famous for the crab market. While I found the market quiet I nevertheless had the best meal there. You can choose what you want and it’s prepared right there. The crab and king prawns were super delicious. And 1 kg sounds about the right quantity 😉
Crossing over from Laos into Cambodia was really no hassle at all. One guy at the border even wanted a picture with my brother, probably to showoff to his family that he is hard working 😉 38 USD later and we had a visa for 30 days.

Our time in Laos draws to an end. Our next stop is (or was, depending on when this post gets through) in Cambodia already. During the last 2 weeks I arrived more in a traveling mood than before.
